Kappa Pi Chapter-at-Large
A Chapter of

Welcome!
Welcome to the website for Kappa Pi Chapter-at-Large, the local chapter for Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI). The mission of Sigma Theta Tau International is to support the learning, knowledge, and professional development of nurses committed to making a difference in health worldwide. As a local chapter, Kappa Pi works to advance this mission through our activities. STTI and Kappa Pi recognize that the power of the organization is the people - each one of us - working together to make a difference.
The website is designed to provide members up-to-date information and easy access on current events within the chapter. You will find the list of officers, upcoming events, newsletters, the history of Kappa Pi, links to STTI, Bellin College, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, and more. We hope you find the site useful and easy to navigate. Any comments or suggestions can be sent to our webmaster, Brenda Tyczkowski at
tyczkowb@uwgb.edu, or to any of the chapter officers.Kappa Pi events are open to members and non-members alike. If you are a member of STTI and are affiliated with another chapter, we would welcome your involvement. Members can easily transfer their membership to a local chapter or hold dual-memberships. Click on the "Membership" tab on the STTI website for more information. Non-members are encouraged to consider joining. If you are a practicing nurse, you are eligible to join if you are legally recognized to practice, have a minimum of a baccalaureate degree in any field, and have demonstrated achievement in nursing. Additional information and application guidelines are available under the "Membership" tab on the STTI website. Students are encouraged to talk with the counselors identified in the list of chapter officers.
Please visit often as information is routinely updated and added.
Thank you! Kathie
