Welcome!
Welcome to the website for Kappa Pi Chapter-at-Large, the
local chapter for Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI). The mission of
Sigma Theta Tau International is to support the learning, knowledge, and
professional development of nurses committed to making a difference in health
worldwide. As a local chapter, Kappa Pi works to advance this mission
through our activities. STTI and Kappa Pi recognize that the power of the
organization is the people - each one of us - working together to make a
difference.
The website is designed to provide members up-to-date information and easy
access on current events within the chapter. You will find the list of
officers, upcoming events, newsletters, as well as links to STTI, Bellin
College, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and more. We hope you find
the site useful and easy to navigate. Any comments or suggestions can be sent to
our webmaster, Brenda Tyczkowski at

As a member, you may want to begin familiarizing yourself with the
contents of our new chapter website.
While anyone can view general information about the chapter on our new website,
some content is for members only; Login using your STTI registered e-mail
account as your ID and your STTI number as your password. Explore all that the
STTI website has to offer. There is
a multitude of resources available at the click of a mouse.
If you haven’t already registered as a user on The Circle, I encourage
you to do so at
http://thecircle.nursingsociety.org/
The Circle is the official social networking site of STTI.
Your registration on The Circle enables our chapter to easily merge mail
and use other technologies to enhance our chapter communications with you, our
members.
If you are not a member and would like to know more about our Chapter, Kappa Pi
events are open to members and non-members alike. We invite you to attend.
Chapter event information can be found on this webpage as well our new
STTI chapter webpage. If you are a member of STTI and are affiliated with
another chapter, we would welcome your involvement. Members can easily
transfer their membership to a local chapter or hold dual-memberships.
Click on the "Membership" tab on the STTI website for more information.
Non-members are encouraged to consider joining. If you are a practicing
nurse, you are eligible to join if you are legally recognized to practice, have
a minimum of a baccalaureate degree in any field, and have demonstrated
achievement in nursing. Additional information and application guidelines
are available under the "Membership" tab on the STTI website. Students are
encouraged to talk with the counselors identified in the list of chapter
officers.

and added.
